German Andreas Gursky is known for his huge photographic pieces. His artwork is the result of hours work to merge hundreds of images recorded with the most advanced equipment from often extreme positions together into one image.
Louisiana's exhibition displays 45 large photographs and 26 smaller photographs created over the last two decades. The exhibition will feature pieces from the series The Ocean I and III and Bangkok. This is the first time that the photographs are displayed in a museum and they have never before been shown in Europe.
